Giving a voice to children who struggle to communicate.

SwitchHandler for developers

Calling all programmers! Scanning is one of the most useful features that software can offer to users that cannot use a mouse or keyboard.

SwitchHandler is a library of routines which programmers can use to include standard scanning options within their software. The program itself must have a simple scanning option but SwitchHandler does the rest.

SwitchHandler is not a program which can be run by itself – it is for building other programs. We do, however, include a couple of simple demonstration examples.

The SwitchHandler Module makes adding scanning options to an application as simple as possible. As long as the application can handle either C++ callback events or .Net events it can make use of the functionality offered by SwitchHandler.
